- Grape Seeds contains high concentrations of Proanthocyanidins, a class of plant flavonoids. Flavonoids are plant pigments that give color to many flowers and fruits and are widely associated with many health-promoting benefits. The most abundant phenolic compounds isolated from Grape Seed are catechins, epicatechin, and procyanidin.
Scientific studies have shown that the potential antioxidant power of proanthocyanidinds is 20 times greater with vitamin E and 50 times greater than vitamin C.
