- Formula re: Contains
- Clinical studies have documented the benefits of L. reuteri and L. rhamnosus infants and young children. These Lactobacillus strains are naturally found in breast milk and passed from a nursing mother to her child. GOS (Galactooligosaccharides) and FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) are similar to the oligosaccharides found in human breast milk and help baby maintain intestinal bacteria balance. The ratio of 90% GOS to 10% FOS mimics the oligosaccharide ratio in human breast milk. Vitamin D is essential to proper immune function. These three factors (probiotic, prebiotic, vitamin D) have a synergistic effect and reinforce the beneficial effects of breast milk.
