- Schisandra a native of Asia, Schisandra (Schisandra chinensis) is a woody vine that produces small, vibrant red fruits. Traditionally used in Chinese medicine as a harmonizing tonic or "King" remedy, Schisandra is included in every classic text on Traditional Chinese medicine.
