Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organic source of sulfur, an antioxidant mineral and critical component of structural body tissue such as cartilage. The sulfur from MSM is incorporated into joint tissue as glycosaminoglycans (or mucopolysaccharides) such as chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid.
