- Brewer's yeast is a natural source of protein, several B-vitamins and minerals. It is produced by cultivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on malted barley in the production of beer. After fermentation, the yeast is separated from the beer, roller dried and debittered. Certain research publications indicate that Brewer's Yeast may help support the following:
